There are many opportunities to park for FREE! 4hrs FREE parking from Monday to Saturday in Allhallows Multi-Storey Car Park and FREE! parking on Sundays in all council owned car parks, evenings after 6pm and for two hours on Saturdays.

Get Festive with Free Parking

·         4hrs FREE parking Monday – Saturday at Allhallows Multi-Storey car park.

·         Up to 2 hours every Saturday in all Council-owned town centre single and multi-storey car parks.

·         All day every Sunday in Council-owned town centre car parks and Harpur Centre

·         Every day after 6pm in all town centre car parks except for River Street

·         Free on street parking after 6pm, Monday – Saturday, except for Castle Lane which is after 11pm

·         First 2 hours parking free Monday to Saturday in Queen Street Car Park*

*You may still need to put a 'pay and display' ticket on your vehicle

Disabled parking: 

Blue Badge Holders may park in Bedford Borough Council car parks free of charge and without any time limit. There is also parking available for disabled customers at the Harpur Shopping Centre.

Electric Bays: 

There are charging points in the town centre car parks including Lurke Street, Allhallows, Duck Mill Lane, Greyfriars, Queen Street and River Street and there’s on street charging at De Parys Avenue. Visit Bedford Borough Council website more info about availability and charging speed.
