From Monday 6th August, the Bus Station/Allhallows Multi-Storey Car Park is opening 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It will continue to be FREE to park at Allhallows Multi-Storey car park after 6pm so supporting the night-time economy of pubs, bars and restaurants
Bedford Borough Council has continued to invest in improving car parks, including Allhallows which underwent a major refurbishment as part of the regeneration of the Bedford Bus Station area. New car parks have also been opened to the public, most recently St Mary’s Gardens car park South of the river between the council offices and Bedford College.
Other 24/7 car parks are Lurke Street which is also free 6pm – 6am and River Street (Howard shopping centre) near the new Riverside and Vue cinema centre which is one 24/7 but is NOT free at any time.
Vue visitors can have their River Street car token “zapped” at the cinema to give them up to 4 hours parking for just £1.
