Harrison and Simmonds on Bedford High Street host a Cigar Club for ladies and gentlemen who enjoy a hand rolled Montecristo or Cohiba.  The club has been meeting for over six years and members can sample Cuban and New World cigars over a relaxing drink on the roof terrace at The Standard pub in Bedford.  Expert speakers, like Tom Lewis from Hunters & Frankau, are also invited to the club to discuss the range of cigars on offer.

Dominic Simmonds organises the meetings: “Our events are a very relaxed, informal affair and anyone is welcome to join. Usually we have 15 – 20 people gathered on the roof terrace, enjoying their choice of cigar in good company.  One of our members is a local butcher who often treats us to cooked samples of his wares as well!” 

Harrison and Simmonds is celebrating 90 years in business and has been in the Simmonds family for five generations since 1928.
