The UK’s leading bakery food-on-the-go-retailer, Greggs, has relocated its Harpur Street shop, with the opening of one of its new food-on-the-go shops at the Harpur Centre in Bedford, with the creation of four new jobs.

The relocated shop will open in a more convenient location with a fresh new look, designed to meet the demands of busy ‘food-on-the-go’ shoppers, who typically purchase food to be eaten at their convenience rather than to be taken home.

The same friendly shop team from Bedford Harpur Street will still be welcoming customers at the relocated shop, and new jobs will be created.

The fresh shop layout aims to offer customers a great shopping experience with lots of space for browsing the product ranges. Seating and free Wi-Fi is now also available for customers who wish to relax and enjoy their purchases inside the shop.

Harpur Centre Manager, Samantha Laycock, said: “We are delighted to welcome Greggs to the Harpur Centre, it is a brilliant addition to our current mix of stores.  The new Greggs store looks great and will no doubt be a big hit with our hungry shoppers.”

Customers can enjoy Greggs favourites such as the iconic Greggs sausage roll, jam doughnut, Greggs Yum Yum, as well as other savouries and sandwiches which will be freshly prepared throughout the day. Seasonal ranges will also be available.
