Businesses in an area of Bedford have got together to rebrand their part of town: Happy Every After Street.

The idea came from Nicola Weeks who opened her bridal gown shop George James just three months ago.

“I realised that with Michael Bailey next door selling the most stylish special day outfits for ladies, Fleurette preparing fantastic flowers and Bluebird specialising in hair for brides we had all the answers here in Harpur Street.

“We also asked our lovely neighbours in the Sicilian restaurant Don Graziono to join in as they have the perfect venue for family celebrations.”

The businesses launched the theme on Tuesday May 12th and plan to flag it up whenever they can.

Nicola will be hanging up the ‘Happy Ever After Street’ banner again in June when she has a special designer dress day at her shop.

She is offering an exclusive preview of 2016 Justin Alexander dresses Bedford Swan Hotel on Saturday June 6th and again at her shop the following day. Brides will be able to try and buy with a 10% discount.

On June 28th Nicola will be supporting the Bedford Swan Hotel Wedding Fayre with a parade of dresses by various designers.
