A host of international goods will be available in Bedford town centre this week with Bedford’s regular stalls being bolstered with a global flavour.
Markets are held in the town centre from Wednesday through to Saturday and this week will be joined by a special market selling goods from across the world including:
- Olives, nuts, baklava
- Caribbean food
- Venison sausage & roast pork
- Crepes
- Sweets
- Paella
- Garden furniture
- Handmade leather goods
- Peruvian crafts
- T shirt printing
- Toys
- Football memorabilia
Bedford’s market history dates back 800 years when King Henry II granted the charter in 1166 which allowed Bedfordians to hold their own market.
