Bedford’s High Street is home to one of the latest-look McDonalds after a refurbishment and introduction of a new App-order system.
This means customers can order and pay in advance and simply pop in and pick up.
The store also now offers the new “tailor-made” meal choices where you can exclude elements of the Big Mac via a big touch screen, for instance: NO gherkin!
Mayor of Bedford Dave Hodgson cut a ribbon on the door of the High Street branch to declare it open – as the McDonalds management team looked on. He had to be quick though as people were beating a path to the door of the restaurant.
