Kerry Cash of 5th Avenue has been putting beauty in Bedford on the national map.

She included: Principal and CEO of Bedford College Ian Pryce, Wyboston Lakes Head of Marketing Louisa Watson and Roxanne Lafratta, owner of Beauty by Roxanne in a film about Bedford Kerry prepared for a national event.

They were all talking about the value of social media to their organisations – all very different – but all benefiting from Twitter, Facebook and more.

The film was financed and produced by Kerry Cash for a presentation at the Professional Beauty Show at Excel, London. She said: “I wanted to share how organisations of all sizes can use social media to support their beauty-related businesses regardless of their size.

“Bedford College has 700 members of staff and trains 100s of hair and beauty students at BROOKS, Y Spa is part of a major commercial organisation, we at 5th Avenue have a busy town centre salon with a range of stylists and therapists and Roxanne is an independent businesswoman – we all use social media in different ways to enhance our reputations.”

Kerry will be sharing her film via www.5thavenuespa.co.uk for everyone in business who wants to see how social media can work for them.

There was also a preview at the BID2BID event held at the Park Inn Bedford in March when Kerry, who is a volunteer Board member, gave a presentation on social media.
