The Bedford Corn Exchange promotes a programme of live events featuring performers from the worlds of comedy, theatre and music. They are also proud to boast one of only two UK residencies of the Philharmonia Orchestra outside London.

The Central Box Office can provide a full ticketing service for events at the Bedford Corn Exchange in addition to those within Bedford and the surrounding areas.

The Bedford Corn Exchange complex is a multi-purpose venue which offers maximum versatility to both hirers and visitors. Hall hire for parties/weddings.

A brand new theatre and performing arts venue in the heart of Bedford that has been created as a resource for Bedford School as well as for the town of Bedford and the local community. We have a 286 seat theatre, a 60 seat studio theatre and a foyer which will exhibit pupil’s art during term time and local artists work during holiday periods. We aim to provide an exciting programme of theatre, dance and music as well as providing a venue for local schools, theatre companies and amateur groups.

South Bank Arts Centre

The South Bank Arts Centre houses the College’s gallery and theatre. It is also a first class teaching facility and arts hub with up-to-date industry standard media and music suites including TV and recording studios with all the latest equipment. Many of these facilities are available for hire.

The theatre hosts frequent evening performances by the talented Performing Arts, Dance and Music Technology students as well as renowned professional companies. There are also regular artist talks and conferences held in the space. Tickets for performances are available from the Enquires & Guidance department at the College reception.
