How to keep people coming back to the town centre was behind every topic covered in the BedfordBID Business Breakfast at The Park Inn.

An exclusive event for BID zone businesses, the guest speaker was the Head of Highways and Planning for Bedford Borough Council Jon Shortland who talked improvements proposed to make it easier for people to get into town.

“The BID breakfasts give businesses a rare opportunity to meet and talk with those at the council who are shaping the future of the Borough,” explained Chair of the BID Sam Laycock,

“In this forum we can all have our say so we can work collectively towards making sure people Love Bedford and keep coming back.”

Says Christina Rowe, BedfordBID Director: “Bedford regularly bucks the trend with better footfall than comparable town centres. We have big brand shops which are a constant feature in the town and bring in regular customers, and we have something different from independents which adds interest to our offer.”

BedfordBID works 365 days of the year to promote the town to potential visitors near and far.
